The restaurant is kind of small. But the service was great and the food and drinks were even better. I would definitely recommend you give it a try and go. The oysters were so good. My shrimp burger was very tasty and the shrimp dumplings were my favorite. I suggest making a reservation.

Pearl and Mary has hits and it has misses. TLDR I still think much of the food quality is good (small plates and entrees) but I used to really like their key lime tart dessert and it's so disappointing now! It wasn't tangy and the crust was a little mushy/mealy and felt like it was probably frozen poorly. They werent prepared for our reservation and it also was changed online to "outside" for a large group when I specifically requested inside, but luckily when we got there they rearranged some tables to keep us inside. I'm not sure why resy didn't send a notification when the seating location changed, although it did when our party size was more accurately reflected. The key lime tart is no longer as good as before, and feels like it might've come from the freezer. It was a little mealy in the crust and had weak lime flavor, like it was edible but not how I remember it in its first year. I can handle the price increase of the dessert but it's just sad to find out the good dessert I dreamt of from two years ago has been replaced. It seems like the pecan upside down cake is still good tho based on my friend's review so I recommend that over the key lime tart. Their small plates are good still and entrees are a hit but there are so many things on the menu that seem to be priced unreasonably. One of my friends ordered the shrimp cocktail and we came to find out that it's cost is by the shrimp... At 5$ per shrimp. Luckily my friend only ordered two but still $10 for two shrimp is crazy. Technically I guess you could infer it but damn that's crazy because they tried to get enough shrimp so it was a shrimp per person and I think we would've been pretty upset if we had done that based on their rec. Their drinks are aesthetic and tasty. For non drinkers I recommend the Pearl's Punch (I think that's the name), it tastes refreshing and sweet. The manager did come around to ask how things are but I'm not really one to complain about things I ordered unless there's something terribly wrong and it's fixable... So it's fine but please note that it's just kind of a mixed bag I think. If you order the right things you'll have a good experience but if you don't study the menu and RECENT pictures you might be a little sad.

I love this place. Three options for seating: outdoor, indoor, and at the bar all of them have great atmosphere from what i saw. i chose indoor seating for two and the service was phenomenal. Our server was so helpful and kind, the food came out so quickly and was phenomenal. Did the happy hour oysters, fries, and smash burger— the oysters were great size and super fresh, fries and burger nothing too special but still tasted great. the crab dip was to die for, we ended up dipping our fries in it… super great experience but it truly flew by with how fast service went! everything is so reasonably priced for the quality and portion- so satisfied!

Great little oyster bar with a gorgeous interior and nice selection of oysters! I’ve visited on multiple occasions for lunch, happy hour and even my birthday dinner. I highly recommend coming for the raw options, especially during happy hour. Highlights: - menu faves we’d get again: oysters (duh), caesar salad, hamachi crudo, fries! - interior is gorgeous I could NOT stop staring at the lighting - great selection of oysters! - some great servers (shout out gregory) Notes: - The raw food is great! Cooked food was not so much. Our $150 seafood tower came with dry, over cooked lobster and crab and the shrimp was tough and flavorless. The raw oysters and clams were great though! - We also ordered the clam chowder, happy hour burger, chicken sandwich, shrimp toast, shrimp and grits and crab pasta. All of which were either too salty and/or dry. - Most of our service has been great. Once we went for happy hour and were trying to get our server for 20 minutes—she said she had many tables and kept waving us off saying she would come over when she had a spare moment. When she finally got back to our table, she looked at her watch and said it was 7:01 (one minute past hh) so we could no longer order from that menu.

Great ambience, amazing food options! My third time visiting Pearl and Mary and I’m still amazed about how rich and tasty their menu is. I would absolutely recommend and it’s now my go to place for oysters in the city-and I eat them a lot! Definitely a 10/10! I would be visiting again very soon!

Came in as I’m starting my birthday adventures and it was such a cute space. Tried raw oysters as an appetizer. Delicious. Got the grilled heritage chicken which I did enjoy. Good drinks and even better service

We made reservations to have dinner and we really enjoyed ourselves. For starters I had the New England Clam Chowder and my girlfriend had the deviled eggs. We both enjoyed our appetizers. The chowder was very tasty and thick. The deviled eggs were delicious as well. For our entrees we had the steak frites and the scallops, both meals were cooked perfectly. We enjoyed our meal and will most likely go back to enjoy their raw bar.

This place is a must-try, especially for happy hour! The deals on seafood are amazing—think $1 oysters and shrimp that are super fresh. And seriously, don't skip the cocktails; they're delicious and perfectly mixed. Our bartender, Brian, was awesome. He was friendly, sharp, and made sure we never had to wait for a thing. The place definitely fills up and gets a great, busy vibe as the night goes on, so if you're not planning on just grabbing a seat at the bar, you'll want to book a table ahead of time. My one small complaint is that the two single-stall unisex bathrooms can create a bit of a wait, but it's a minor detail in an otherwise great night out.
